Climate Justice: Turning the March into a Movement

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

On September 21st, a million people will take to the streets of New York City to demand an economy that works for people and the planet. From rising sea levels to water shortages to famine, those most affected by climate change are poor people of color. How do we make sure their voices are lifted up within the historic march? How do we capture the energy of the People's Climate March and turn it into the People's Climate Movement? Getting the attention of world leaders is only the start. Much work will need to be done to hold their feet to the fire, and we invite you to be a part of the planning process in this interactive workshop.
